Hi! I'm Kim

Licensed Professional Counselor

I want to see more people make the world

a better place—and feel good while doing it!

Imagine if on most days, most people woke up well-rested, inspired, ready to make healthy choices and have a beneficial impact on the world. Wouldn't this be nice!

My therapeutic work is designed to help you discover the power of your inner smile, so you can cultivate the vitality to make the world a better place.

What would it be like to live in a world where we felt more joy and less struggle. Where we honored our differences. A world where we value the power of love over the love of power.

This is why I do the work I do—to help us all get there.

Field Sunset

Anxiety

Anxiety may be our bodies best alarm system, but constant worry and anxiety can decrease our focus and clarity.

Depression

Depression is a collapse of energy designed to protect us when our internal landscape has become stagnate. It calls on us to acknowledge the depletion of energy and restore flow.

Trauma separates us from our known world. A sense of powerlessness and disconnection will disturb our ability to reintegrate back into society after trauma. It is essential we acknowledge, feel and mobilize the release of painful emotions, rather than try to erase, avoid or distract from them.

Chronic pain +
Stress related illness

Chronic pain and illness halt our forward progress, demanding our attention. We must be careful. The body is trying to work for us, not against us. Before we can heal, we must honor the inherent intelligence of our bodies signals for acknowledgement and care.

Life Transitions

Periods of intense change are inevitable. Transitions often encourage us to let go of the familiar and embrace uncertainty and vulnerability.

Emotional Regulation

Often we feel at the mercy of our emotions. It is essential we learn to respect our emotional language as they impact our cognitive processes and relationships greatly.
